Scope of service: To design Fick’s 2-bed 2-bath apartment, where Ana and Rodger live in with their 2 years old daughter Freja. Without altering the apartment's structure, the renovation will focus on integrating finishes, furniture, lighting, cabinetry, and cosmetic enhancements to achieve a cohesive aesthetic that blends modern functionality with vintage charm.
Floor + Furniture Plan
To create the floor plan, I considered the client's needs from a thorough interview covering their daily routine, habits, aesthetic preferences, and more.
Ana and Rodger, tech workers, often work remotely. Design should balance work and family, and be minimal for easy maintenance.
They host family from abroad in their redesigned home for extended stays.
Passionate about cooking and dining, they dream of a warm, open kitchen and dining area for hosting & enjoying food.
They lead an active lifestyle with daily exercise and weekend sports, and they take energetic Freja to the park twice daily.
Atousa frequently shops at fashion ateliers and small boutiques in Paris. The design should mirror this appreciation for quality and refined details.
